This fact sheet is aimed at support organisations who work with disabled people. DWP refers to claimants as being in a vulnerable situation when they have difficulty in dealing with the demands of the department’s processes at the time they need to access a service. This factsheet sets out the extra help that DWP are able to give to these people.
