Guidance: Operational low flying training timetable

This document sets out the timetable for use of the three Tactical Training Areas (TTA) for operational low flying (OLF) training by RAF fast jets and Hercules aircraft.

These training areas are:

• LFA 7(T): central Wales
• LFA 14(T): northern Scotland
• LFA 20(T): the borders area of southern Scotland and northern England

When the TTA is not in use, there may be occasional rotary wing activity in the area.

Changes to the OLF timetable

As of 19th June 2013, the OLF programme is published on a Wednesday two weeks prior to OLF taking place.
