The European Union has decided to introduce targeted sanctions, including an asset freeze, against those responsible for human rights violations, violence and use of excessive force in Ukraine. Detailed measures will be announced shortly.
The Council of the European Union published its conclusions on Ukraine on 20 February 2014.
