This open general trade control licence (OGTCL) allows the transfer to and from specified countries of ‘category C’ goods. These are goods listed on the UK Military List that do not fall into either category A or B, or certain substances that are controlled for the purpose of riot control or self-protection and related portable dissemination equipment. Read more about trade controls on military goods.
This revised OGTCL came into force on 22 January 2014. All previous licences are revoked.
You will need to state the exact name of the licence or the SPIRE reference on any supporting documentation given to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
