Under tasks 2.1 and 2.5 of the Digital Radio Action Plan, the Technology and Equipment Group (TEG) has been tasked to identify, investigate, report and make recommendations on the technology and equipment issues related to any future Radio Switchover. Specifically, TEG was asked to recommend minimum specifications for domestic and in-vehicle radio receivers, test specifications to underpin product compliance, and a process for accrediting test houses to perform those tests.
