This revised open general export licence (OGEL) allows, subject to certain conditions, certain chemicals to be exported from the UK or any other EU member state (with the exception of some countries), so long as the exporter is established in the UK. There is a 20kg limit on shipments.
This revised OGEL came into force on 6 January 2014. All previous licences are revoked.
You will need to state the exact name of the licence or the SPIRE reference on any supporting documentation given to HMRC.
