The Cabinet Office requires non-departmental public bodies to be reviewed every 3 years by their parent department.
This review of the Technical Advisory Board considered the key function of the NDPB and assessed compliance with recognised principles of good corporate governance.
The review determined that the TAB should remain as an NDPB and that the current governance arrangements are in line with good corporate governance principles. The report makes a number of recommendations that will be implemented shortly.
