This document sets out the process to be followed to ensure the provision of forensic pathology services in the event of regulatory action taken by the Human Tissue Authority in England and Wales and to ensure the ongoing provision of forensic pathology services. It also sets out the role that the Human Tissue Authority and the Home Office will adopt in respect of the routine audit of police held human tissue in HTA licensed premises.
