Guidance: PIP conditions of entitlement

This fact sheet is intended for support organisations who work with disabled people. It provides information and links to further information about the conditions of entitlement for PIP, including:

• age
• the required period or likely period of the claimant’s condition
• residence

The fact sheet also covers guidance and links to further information on the effect of special circumstances, such as:

• admission to hospital
• care home residency
• detention in legal custody
• terminally ill people
